Visual Histories
My work draws from a diverse range of visual histories and cultural perspectives, including Anglo-European heritage, transatlantic connections, Asian landscapes, Gothic revival architecture, urban environments, satire, illustration, and narrative. Through direct and indirect observation, I create complex, agoraphobic spatial perspectives that reflect the built and natural environments, echoing the monumental histories that shape our collective European and international identities and shared cultural heritage.
